Wendy Polit Karp is a general commercial litigator who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters, including class actions, antitrust and international arbitration, partnership disputes, and alternative dispute resolution.

Wendy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While at the University of Florida, Wendy interned at the Gainesville Public Defender's Office as a Certified Legal Intern through the Child Welfare Clinic. Although she was born in New York, Wendy grew up in South America is fluent in Spanish.

Throughout her career, Wendy has represented clients in significant litigation matters both in state and federal court. As part of her federal court practice, Wendy represented various opt-out plaintiffs in as part of nationwide Multi District Litigation pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California where manufacturers conspired to raise prices and control production capacity of CRT and LCD panels in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act.

Wendy is also an experienced state court litigator who obtained a full victory at trial on behalf of one of the nation's leading homebuilders, turning a $30 million fraud and misrepresentation claim against our client into a $14 million victory in her client's favor. Wendy and her team were honored for this case and named Daily Business Review, Most Effective Lawyers - Real Estate, Winner, 2013.

Wendy was also recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in 2016. In addition to maintaining a successful practice, Wendy is very active in her community through her involvement in the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) and the United Way of Miami-Dade Young Leaders.
