Elizabeth Y. Slagle is an experienced commercial litigator who has, during her career, acquired a wealth of experience practicing at large international firms, mid-sized and boutique firms. This diverse background has allowed her to represent individuals, businesses, and financial institutions in an array of complex commercial litigation and business matters in state and federal court, and arbitration. She has represented clients in matters involving contract disputes, business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate litigation, and employment issues such as non-compete and trade secret violations.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Ms. Slagle earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2001.
Ms. Slagle is admitted to practice in the State of Florida. She also is admitted in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern District of Florida. Ms. Slagle is fluent in Spanish.
Elizabeth is the proud mother of two young children with whom she enjoys spending time. During her personal time, she also enjoys traveling, salsa dancing, gastronomy, live music, and reading.
